The DX+ conceptual framework for AI-supported inclusive block programming in higher education

A conceptual framework, DX+, has been proposed to address the disproportionate difficulty faced by students with dyslexia and related reading challenges in learning programming. This framework integrates AI-supported visual block-programming with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and large language models (LLMs) to simplify the programming learning process by reducing textual and syntactical burdens, while enabling automatic code generation in multiple languages.
