Digital Medicines Information at National Scale: Search Behaviour and System Performance of MediVerify Across 1.5 Million Queries

An analysis of Sri Lanka's national online medicines information platform, MediVerify, revealed significant public engagement with 1.49 million queries in its first year. The study aimed to characterize medicine information-seeking behavior, identify discrepancies between public demand and essential medicines policy, and assess system performance. This research highlights the utility of national-scale digital health platforms in understanding population healthcare needs and informing policy.
