A methodology for AI-supported cross-level professional collaboration in computer science education using the AI-Ustaz platform

A methodology has been developed for AI-supported professional collaboration across different educational levels in computer science. This initiative involved pre-service teachers, secondary-school teachers, and college instructors, utilizing the AI-Ustaz platform as a common technological environment. The methodology was tested through a quasi-experimental design involving 347 participants across nine educational institutions in Kazakhstan during the 2024-2025 academic year.

This development introduces a structured approach to leveraging AI for professional development and inter-institutional collaboration in education. It has the potential to enhance teaching quality and curriculum alignment across different educational stages by fostering shared knowledge and practices among diverse educators.
