The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into educational systems is fundamentally altering the landscape for leadership. This shift moves beyond mere tool adoption, replacing traditional challenges of information scarcity and coordination with issues of interpretive overload and uncertainty regarding knowledge legitimacy. This transformation necessitates an 'epistemic' approach to leadership, inherently prone to paradoxes, as existing leadership models (instructional, transformational, distributed, and technocratic) are insufficient due to their assumption of stable knowledge legitimation. The study identifies six structural leadership paradoxes resulting from this epistemic shift.
