A quantitative study involving 225 English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers in Kazakhstan examined their readiness to integrate 21st-century competencies (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity, or 4Cs) into teaching. The research specifically investigated the association between teachers' self-regulated professional learning (SRL) and perceived digital educational opportunities (DEO) with their preparedness for 4Cs integration. The study addresses a gap in evidence regarding these relationships within the context of increasing digitalization in education.
